“My handwriting changes all the time, what does it mean? Is that odd?” I hear this question often. Here is the answer. No, it’s not odd. There could be many physical, mental and circumstantial reasons for the variations. But one reason why it changes often is your mood fluctuations.
For example, when you are feeling outgoing, you may have noticed that the handwriting slant changes to the right. On the other hand, when you are in a sombre mood, it either stays straight or sometimes tilts slightly to the left. The same happens with size as well. Students may have noticed that when are concentrating a lot on studies, their handwriting tends to get smaller. (Read about what small handwriting means)
We have said discussed in almost every article on Write Choice that handwriting shows your personality. Here is another case in point. This short video shows you how Friends star Jennifer Aniston’s signature underwent a change while she was going through a tough period.
The change discussed in the video reinforces the view that handwriting not only reveals a lot about a person, but also changes with time, mood and emotional state.
In Aniston’s case, the changes are visible in her signature, which becomes obscure with time and loses legibility. Among other things, the loss of legibility points to the writer’s unhappiness with life coupled with a compelling desire to become evasive. It is possible that she did not want people to ask her any questions about the break-up. Additionally, the obscurity sometimes also indicates that the writer is facing an emotional tumult.
