Assessing candidates the write way

All job applications submitted to SG Warburg & Co, when under the leadership of Siegmund Warburg, were submitted to a handwriting analyst, or graphologist, for close scrutiny.

Mr Warburg was undoubtedly eccentric and, by all accounts, rather nit-picking. But he was a stickler for detail and perfection and demanded it from his staff, maing him ready to go the extra mile to recruit the very best that money could buy.
